Mr. Kragh has found an interesting book:  How to be a Victorian - A Dawn to Dusk Guide to Being a Victorian by Ruth Goodman.

Other books that are rather interesting:

Blum, Deborah.    The Poisoner's Handbook: Murder and the Birth of Forensic Medicine in the Jazz Age .   New York.  New York: Penguin Group.  This book may be a bit later than Victorian Era but is none-the-less interesting.

Edwards, Laura F.  Scarlett Doesn’t Live here Anymore  Southern Women in the Civil War Era. Urbana: University of Illinois Press, 2000. This book is a comparison of several classes of women before and after the Civil War.

Gill, Gillian. We Two: Victoria and Albert:  Rulers, Partners, Rivals.  New York:   Random House           Books, 2009. This book is about Queen Victoria and her husband, Prince Albert.

Hubbard, Kate.  Serving Victoria:  Life in the Royal Household.  New York: Harper Perennial, 2012. This book is about the culture of Queen Victoria's lower classes .
